課程概述

1. Overview and Introduction of Antenna Related Applications, Parameters and categorization.
2. Overview of Numerical Techniques used in the Antenna Developments.
3. Overview of Antenna related Measurement and Characterization.
4. The Basic Theories including the Radiation Integrals, Reciprocity, Directivity, etc.
5. Radiation of Foundamental Antennas including Dipoles, Loops, and Helices
6. Radiation Patterns of Horns, Slots, and Patches
7. Linear and Planar Arrays: Analysis and Synthesis
8. Self and Mutual Impedances of Antenna Elements for the use in RF subsystem 

課程目標
學習天線基礎理論、遠場積分、陣列天線分析及合成技巧
This object of this course is to provide the graduate students (or senior undergraduate students) the basic concepts of antenna. A global aspect will be provided such that the students can have a basic idea how the antenna is developed from the application requirement, the initialization of design concept, the required tools to realize the concepts, and the validation. After taking this courses, the students will equip with the basic skill to start their antenna career.
